1. The James Room
Right on the Beltline, this cafe is my go to. The environment is so warm and welcoming with seating both inside and outside. It has a cozy and intimate feeling inside with beautiful music-inspired decor. The outside patio has lounge chairs that might have you chilling there the whole day. If the cafe vibe wasn't enough, you can enjoy their speakeasy behind the hidden doors after 5pm. They have live music on Tuesdays and all around great vibes every other day.
2. Prevail Union ATL
This hidden gem is a breath of fresh air. It has a spacious and fresh feel with so many different areas to sit and get your work done. I really enjoyed their honey vanilla raspberry iced latte and even popped my matcha cherry with an iced matcha vanilla latte (no regrets about it). I love to sit in one of the booths on a rainy day and get work done.
3. Cafe Comma
Although this one is a bit of a drive from Midtown (about 17 minutes) in Vinings, it's worth it! They have such a chic aesthetic inside with room to sit and get work done. They also have some seating outside. My go to drink is the Caramel Creme. The sweat foam on top with caramel drizzle is my favorite part. Think Starbucks, but the upgraded version (sorry, not sorry).
This coffee shop definitely has its Perc(k)s! I honestly struggled to leave because the music was such a vibe. They have two locations in Atlanta, I went to the one on Hosea Williams Dr. because they have more seating. They have a great menu with a lot of fun options. I tried the Iced 'Good Times Latte' with oat milk. It has lavender-vanilla and habanero sugar. I'd definitely order it again.
5. Xander Coffee
This spot is super clean, spacious, and located in a prime location in Buckhead. I enjoyed their Iced Oatmilk Latte and a sausage, egg, and cheese sandwich. They also have Acai bowls at the Lucky Lotus stand located inside. This is definitely a popular spot, as there were a lot of people there but I had no trouble finding secluded seating!
